Where to Go / What to Do in Irapuato

The city's greatest tourism attraction is its beautiful and recently renovated Historic Center, where you can tour along the Main Garden and sit on the benches of Plazuela Miguel Hidalgo to enjoy a good outdoor regional music concert; or attend one of the region's most beautiful shows by Fuentes Danzarinas.

Walk along Plaza Fundadores and visit the Templo de Nunestra Señora de la Soledad, city's patron and the current Palacio Municipal (former Colegio de Enseñanza).

PARQUE ZOOLOGICO DE IRAPUATO
Visit with your family the fun and educational Irapuato Zoo Park where you will find tens of mammal, bird and reptile species such as Siberian bears, jaguars, Bengal tigers, African tigers, spider monkeys, pheasants, red tail falcons, toucans and chachalacas, among many others. Ride a fun train around the park's facilities, take a boat ride on the lake located inside or enjoy with the young the games and mechanic carousel that are available for the public.

MUSEO DE LA CIUDAD DE IRAPUATO
Cultural space exhibiting a show of prehistoric objects found in territory of current State of Guanajuato. Additionally, it has temporary exhibits of sculptures and paintings of local and national artists.
