As for the health industry, it has large private hospital and medical centers located in the city like Hospital Christus Muguerza (that has hospitals in Saltillo and Nuevo Leon), Hospital Universitario, Hospital San Jose de Monterrey, OCA Hospital, Gynaecology and Obstetrician Center, Conchita Maternity Clinic to mention a the largest.

It also has the public services of the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS), and of the DIF Monterrey. In Monterrey there is the Cardiology Clinic No. 34 of the IMSS, it is the best in its category in all the country with a profile to be the best in Latin America.
