Jesus Alberto Aguilar Padilla, Constitutional Governor of the State of Sinaloa, was born at El Llano de la Carrera, Cosalá, Sinaloa; on February 24, 1952. A lawyer and politician, he is an active member of Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI). He was Congressman for the XVI Electoral District and has performed various posts within his party and the state government. During his vast work experience, he has occupied many relevant public offices, excelling as Director of Work and Social Direction of Sinaloa; State Delegate for CONASUPO; Regional Delegate of INFONAVIT; Secretary of Planning and Development for Sinaloa; President of the Greater Commission of Congress and Coordinator of the Parliamentary Group of PRI for the LVII Legislature; and President of the National Legislator Conference and Coordinator of Legislative Action at CEN for PRI.
